The Best Way?

I'd use a "dried-wax remover" product. I got mine from Griot's but I'm sure other places have it cheaper. Sometimes you can just use clay, or an APC, or a paint cleaner, but the dried-wax stuff seems to work best for me.

cheap alternative: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - works surpisingly well for this purpose

more expensive alternative: Duragloss 481 Wax Eraser (around $6.00 for 4 oz.)

Both have worked well for me in the past so take your pick.

Is DG 481 available at CarQuest? I don't remember seeing it... I might have to ask them to order that along with some 3M Ultrafina
