The BEST towels/MF cloths you have ever used

After discovering autopia, I realized I wasn't doing my paint any good by using cheap microfiber towels. So I have tried 3 highly regarded towels : DF, Meguiars Ultra Plush Terry, and Viking's blue mf drying towel.

Of all of these, I am most impressed with Viking's towel. I only use this towel to dry my car but it is incredible. In fact I stopped using a leaf blower bc it works so well. The DF and Megiuars towels are great as well, but the DF come out of the wash rather stiff. The Viking comes out as soft as new. Any ideas as to why that happens? I use liquid detergant with no dyes/perfumes and don't put them in the dryer. No fabric softner either.

I havn't tried the Viking for detailing, but I might try it at some point to see how it does. :) I'm definitely impressed with the Viking towel.

While I haven't tried every towel, I have had great success with most towels I've tried.

Drying: WW from Excel and Pak Shak; didn't like the Meguiars magnet

Polishing: Excel, Pak Shak, Adams; I use the cheaper bulk pack MF for cleaning interior and door jams

So far me.

Drying - Pakshak Waffle Weave.

Polish and Sealant Removal - Pakshak Ultra's.

Carnuba Wax Removal - Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towels.

QDing - Pakshak Ultra Plush

Final Wipe Down - Pakshak Ultra Fine.

Of those three, the Viking is the only MF.

Your right. I'm comparing apples and oranges. The Viking is one hell of a towel and I'm surprised that a retail product is of that quality.
