What is the best, safest, most effective Paint Sealant & Wax you can give to your vehicle?

Also how can you tell the difference between Ceramic/Conventional clear coats and water based clear coats?

Would appreciate the insight
Thanks.

1) Best is incredibly subjective. You want the best looks? Best durability? Easiest application? Best price per use? You can't have it all, so its BEST to have a variety of waxes and sealants on hand to deliver the BEST service for any situation.

2) It doesn't really matter.

Well what kind of look do you want? Do you want a reflective kind of look, do you want a warm glowing kind of look or how about a glassy look? What color is the car? Some waxes look better on darker paints, some waxes look better on lighter paints. What about durability, how long do you want it to last? What about slickness and protection? how good do you want it to repel the elements? Because if you want something that is going to be good in all those areas the best your going to get is an extra layer of clear coat on a car for over $500...

Honestly, these "best" type posts go no where - go to the store here - there are about a hundred that are great...for diff situations...

I guess what im asking is as professional detailers what do you prefer to use?
Not necessarily the best, but what reliable products have you had experience with that you would recommend to an owner of a detailing business.

For me I've tried many brands but always come back to Poorboys products. They always deliver good results, easy to work with and costs effective.

Just getting to know other products a little too.

This is a very hard question to ask us anyone but what we do have at the Autopia Car Care Store is full of the world's best detailing products for any vehicle out there. We also have a " How To Guide " that will answer almost every question you might have and BTW Welcome to Autopiaforums!:welcome:

Bobby--have you tried Hard Body?? Want to give it a try, but saw some posts that if you use ONR or non Wolf's wash soap it degrades the longevity--this of course could be marketing hype.

I've read about it but haven't tried it.

I see it's a few dollars more but the major difference is it's reported to last for 24 months....I suspect the Optimum No Rinse is all BS because how can a product reported to have a durability of 2 years become compromised by using an Optimum No Rinse solution?

There's no such thing as best. What's the best car? Hot Dog? Pizza? Shoes? Ask a question that you can actually receive an answer to.

Realized wasn't the best question to ask thats why i rephrased to this.

Any advice?

Another vote for 845.

Cost effective, easy to use, very durable, usually doesn't stain trim

One of my all time favorites

Since it appears to my hobbiest eyes that you consider yourself an aspiring "professional" detailer...... It may behove you to perfect your technique insead of product. There are people here that can make a car look like a million using turtle wax, there are people that can make a product like crystal rock, look like a cub scout troop car wash did the car.

I'll tell you what works a lot better with these guys here rather than just asking them what they like and use...because as said right above - YOU CAN USE THE SAME PRODUCT AND HAVE CRAP RESULTS...There is so much skill and experience here....

Instead, ask them to help you with a situation you have. Something like this:

I have a car that has the following condition:
insert pics and explanation here

I have the following tools to use:
insert list of detailing tools you own

I want a [insert high gloss, durable etc] look, it is going to be kept [insert garage, driveway, etc]

and I have a budget of $$$____

now you're talking about good content coming back....
