the best paint chip repair you have used?

have a few chips on hood Its silver so matching is tough. The factory paint pen is not even a close match all even though I have them the VIN#.

As far as a "kit". Most all those tested and used on here have not come with favorable results.

www.paintscratch.com is supposed to match pretty well, but I've not seen a great result from it. Could be technique, of course, but if it was me, I'd want a super job if I planned on keeping the car for a while.



See if your insurance covers this as part of your policy if the chips are real bad.

I use an air gun, spot the chips, then let it dry for about 15 minutes and wipe the excess.
