The Absorber

Just wondering how many of you use it and if it is a good/bad product to use on a car's surface. Thanks!

I like it, it's the best synthetic chamois you can find locally.

A must have item for washing. Just make sure you lay it on the paint, don't drag it. Follow it up with your favorite MF or cotton towel.

Word on the street is that the Big Blue Drying Towel at CMA is as good or better than the Absorber. I've been using the absorber since 97 and have had nothing but great success with it. I want the CMA towel to compare but I haven't gotten around to it. The Absorber is the very best you can get off the shelf. :up :up

I have a LSU purple Absorber!!!!!!! Love those colors they come in and they work well.



I prefer the blot method then to dragging it across the paint.

I've been using an Absorber for a couple years. Two months ago, I decided to purchase a Big Blue Towel for comparison. For me, the Big Blue Towel is a significant improvement over the Absorber. I now only use my Absorber to dry the door jams.

I <span class='bbc_underline'><strong class='bbc'>LOVE[/b] my Big Blue Towel...and I was completely sold on the Absorber.

Got one but don't use it. Leave a thin trail of water behind that waterspots if you don't wipe them up with something else. I find that I can get my truck dry faster by using a 100% cotton bath towel. I blot when I use my towel for drying. One blot and the section is dry. With the absorber you have to hit the areas twice. Once with the absorber and again with a MF or something else.
