With no regard for durability what product do you think has the best wet/liquid shine/shimmer possible( wax ,sealant or other). I have my opinion , whats yours?

First of all the car is bright red metalic.

I had Zymol carbon and thought it was ok. ( traded to a friend )

I have Souvran ( in the process of selling the kit) it was real nice, but didn't blow me away like i hopped it wood.

I have used Surluster which looks exactly like Souvran.

No offence but #16 & #26 are not as good as either PS or SL

P21S was pretty good, I think a notch below PS & SL.

Natty's blue and pink wax were pretty good too.

Just wondering what else is out there.

I still have yet to beat JW Prime Acrylic with AJT or AJ. Throw in CG 5050 and the shine does away a little but more depth and wetness. I have Natty's blue and do not like it.

glaze over a carnauba

I agree with this statement. For specifics, I use the following:

#7, NB, #7

or

#7, Souveran, #7

Absolute wettest I have seen, but the look lasts maybe 1 week in good weather and is a dust-magnet.

What are you prepping the paint with? Is it possible that its not the wax your dissapointed with but your polish/glaze?

Dogma, don't tell me your going to purchase more stuff?...LOL

Maybe ;) . I'm bored as hell waiting for CS hopefully it's out soon. I was just curious on what may be out there that I havn't tried. My car is stored for the winter with Z5pro& Z8 on it. Once the CS is out I think I am going to do every panel on my truck and wifes van with something different just to see if anything will last as long as zaino. i think that will be the only true test since look are subjective.

But, I was curious if someone made a product for looks only either sealant or wax.

I have everything that was suggested except CG 50/50.

Try the CG 50/50. you can always use RMG or your choice of glaze under it. I would prep with 85rd or 106FF.

I agree that a glaze/carnauba combo will give the best wet appearance of the products I've tried. I tend to like RMG/Souveran (or NB if I'm being economical). For sealants, UPP is one of the slickest. Unfortunately, durability is not so great (at least when I tried it last).

First I would like to say that I'm a huge RMG/PS fan on black and have been for a while but I do feel that RMG/PS or just PS falls short on my red street rod. Since I perfer waxes for show cars I have tried several and have settle on Trade Secerts for red only. TS is the only wax I have tried that seems to improve with upto 5 layers most other wax I would say 2 maybe 3 would be the max. TS is a easy WOWO just like PS. I will be trying CG 50/50 in the next couple of weeks since it gets such great reviews.:2thumbs:
