The A4 got a new stance

audiboy

Hail the power of Quattro
Well, after 5 months of waiting for the warm season and finding a good amount of spare time, a buddy and I were finally able to install the coilovers that were hanging out in the kitchen. The kit is made by Vogtland and is a height adjustable only coilover kit. The car cornered very well with the stock sport suspension, but it's almost on rails now. There is very little body roll and the performance tires compliment the suspension really well. The ride isn't very rough at all. Actually, I like it a lot more than before. The 19" wheels I put on raised the car a bit, so I lowered it back down to give it a somewhat aggressive, but more clean looking stance. The height between the lip of the wheel and the fender is anywhere between 2 7/16" and 2 5/8". I apologize for the bad picture, but my digicam is acting up again and I had to use the camera on my phone. All comments and criticism are welcome.

I will try and get a few better pictures up tomorrow if I can get my camera to work.

It wasn't waxed too long ago. I do need to do a good full detail on it though. I'll probably get to it this coming weekend.

Just messing with you. I can't really tell how good the detail is by the picture but I know how you are so it's probably pretty darn good.

Now that looks sweet!!

It's amazing what a top-quality suspension kit can do for handling & performance. I had the H&R Cup Kit on my ZX3 and I was stunned by how much better it rode and handled even with the 2.75" drop.

Enjoy those on/off ramps and the twisties!!

Wow ! Nice looking A4 there bud.

I like the wheels in particular, but haven't got a clue how you'd get to cleaning the inner arches....unless you just spray 'em with Armoral tire spray or something similar ?

What wheels are they btw ?

The front end needs some attention from all of the bugs, but other than that, I guess it's okay.

thats what I'm talking about! :rockon

I thought you'd appreciate it being a fellow VAG owner.

Great looking ride

Your grass needs trimming:D

My grass was just cut that day. I don't do any weed trimming or edging though. Lawn work is definitely not my favorite part of owning a house.

A4 looks great.

Are those RS4 rims or an A4 option?

Those are RS4 replica wheels. Audi sells them for $600 a wheel. I got them for $135 a wheel. I would have loved to have gotten the real ones, but I'm not paying that rediculous price.

It is really a awesome kit. Those German tuners really know what they're doing.

If you're referring to the wheel wells being the inner arches, they just get sprayed with a hose. I can't fit anything in there to scrub them down. If you're talking about the wheel, it's painted and I have a nice brush and wheel ShMitt that takes care of the brake dust pretty well.

Thanks to all for the compliments.

Looks sharp :rockon

I got to detail an S4 on Saturday, brought my camera but the battieries were dead :( Had a set of HRE 20" 3-piece wheels that looked as if they raised the car

Yours has a MUCH cleaner stance

Yeah, my car was riding a little high with the 19" wheels on and I couldn't be happier with the look now. I know I can go a lot lower still(with fender rolling of course) but it wouldn't be practical.

Thanks. I'm sure you'll like the car as is, but if you're someone who likes to drive very aggressively in his/her spare time, you'll probably want to start modding.
