Thats Fresh Detailed: 90 IslandGreen Metallic 535i

Thats Fresh

more more more rain. finally got this car scheduled. this called for an almost full restoration job. with only a day and half to correct the paint, i had to grind this one out fast. car history: was repainted by previous owner. but over the years, the clear eventually went thin and gone in some areas. the new owner "IDRIVEANE34" on here aquired the car from a dealer down in North Carolina during the winter so inspecting the paint was a tough one. She drove the car back up to VA through a snow storm. Few months later, the true condition of the paint showed. She did use touch up paint to cover some troubled areas. Those areas were about 3" in diameter. i didnt not touch bc i did not want to risk more damage as i could see the bare metal right through the touch up paint. I informed her that best option was to repspray the car. She did however provide me with a fresh package of Dr Colorchip which i did use on rock chips, scratches etc.

I did my best to revive the metallic color while removing 90% of the swirls. the paint levels were dangerously low for me to work on throughout the car. I say i got a 75% correction rating. Well onto the detail...

That looks great! What speeds do you use with the IP and the 106?

both at 6 on the PC. after the final passes, i reduced pressure to just the buffer.
