THATS FRESH Detailed: 2003 Sable Black CTS

Thats Fresh

New member
5 cars in a row and theyre all black. i love black but da mn. lOL. Owner took his car to the local car wash for his washes which caused the ever so deep swirls. The water at the car wash left a nice wax on it but also left the paint with water pits all over the car. The CTS is his DD and his daughter rides in the back. We met a week before the detail so i could take a closer look. Upon inspection, the car was in great condition, just hardened bug spots and minor swirls. After the initial wash i found alot more discrepancies like those water pits and DEEP swirls. But, no rock chips, nice! i wasnt able to correct it to perfection but i got close to 100% as i could. on to the detail. enjoy

and guess what im getting tomorrow, a BLACK NSX. can i get a white car for once?

Really nice work!

Were the headlights just dirty in that early shot or did you perform some amount of correction?

great turn around. The headlights were horrible for only being an '03. Interior difference if HUGE. hope the owner appreciates the miracle you worked on this!

thanks yall for the kind words.

yes my car was long overdue....thanx Fresh for working on my ride.....!!

no problem. thanks for letting me work on it versus taking it to those hack 'pro detailer shops' here in our area. glad you liked it and welcome to autopia.

no that first shot was taken when i got the car. that last shot of it was the best i could get it. maybe someone with more expertise can give me tips on how they dealt with it IF it even is correctable. the owner is going to buy new headlights anyways.

Lookin' good.

Is the owner a smoker? Because that looked like nasty smoke staining on the B pillar.

yes he is but he quit. I was amazed at 303 Spot Cleaner with the dark color. i could have used it on the other stains but the price of 303 vs. Tuff Stuff made me use the 303 just for the hard spots.

thanks barry! i was happy to acheive that kinda of results. some spots i couldnt get but most of it was corrected (=

customer was appreciative and is armed with proper maintenance knowledge now.
