I just wanted to express my feelings towards this forum.
I have learned a wealth of info from here. Without places like
autopia, I would of spent so much money to get what I fixed
by searching the forums.
So here goes my story.....
I drive a Mercedes, and I was recently attacked by haters..
Someone spat a fat *** piece of gum on my hood.. To make things
worse is that I have a black car... Autopia members know that
black cars are the easiest to scratch/get swirl marks. Anyway..
I came out of work and found a big *** piece of gum on hood.
To make it worse it was right in the middle of my hood, implying
that it was done on purpose. I pulled the gum off as much as I could
since my car was sitting in the sun all day long. You can just imagine
the damage.. Big time melted gum and spider webbing gum from
me pulling it off. I left home pretty pissed off.. As soon as I went home I
went straight to this forum and started doing research.. I found
that most members were able to get gum off with peanut butter.
I did what people recommended on this forum and I can tell you
that I have no extra swirl marks nor do I have extra scratches.
I just wanted to express how much this forum means to me and
THANK YOU to all the members. If it wasn't for this forum,
my friends wouldn't think that my middle name is "detail". Little they
know is that I get all my info and my techniques from you guys..
Thanks again!!!!
