Testing: Iron X vs Iron Burn

So I got my hands on a hood to do some testing with. I decided to test some waxes and sealants side by side. But before that you need to Decon right?

So I took 2 Iron removers and put them head to head.

Sprayed Carpro Iron X on the left/ Fireball Ultimate Iron Burn on the right. Iron Burn appears more foamy. I let it dwell for about 4-5 mins.

Iron Burn:

Now I agitated the products with a sponge.

Iron X:

Iron Burn:

Seems to be Iron Burn side of the sponge picked up more contaminants. And both sides honestly seemed to bleed the same. There was one section from the Iron X side that bled a lot from one little dot. But all else seemed even on the playing field. No clear winner yet.

So the I went back to see if I sprayed each brand on the opposite side to see if they cleaned up after each other.

As you can see the foamy section is now on the left side

So conclusion?
I do not know, it seems both work really well, when shot on the other brands area it still did its job. Seems like we have a new contender that seems to work just as well as Iron X. The only real difference I saw was what the sponge picked up.

Waiting for a white car to come in a do another side by side.

Happy Detailing all

Legacy, maybe you could post a picture of each product including the labels so people can see what's going on ;)

Iron removers do not eliminate the need for waxing...keep that in mind.

you can probably do that 10 times and still get some "bleeding"

heck, do it, then clay it, then do it again and you will still get some "bleeding"
