testing for product compatibility

when using different products how do you test to make sure that they are going to work together? I asking about polishes followed by a glaze then a lsp. i guess the easiest way would be to post the combo you plan on using on the board and let readers answer. I'm interested in finding out when i try different combos, how'll i'll be able to tell if the products are working the way the were intended to.

I tend to use carnaubas more than sealants so compatibility generally isn't an issue. If I am going to use a sealant, I tend to go with a sealant friendly final polish like Werkstatt's Prime or do an ONR wash or QD after the final polish and before applying a sealant.

You'll know if they're *NOT* working together because things'll obviously not go well (e.g., the LSP will smear around like it "never dries").

Like ScottWAx, I match my polish/etc. to the LSP, or use a carnauba and avoid having to worry about it.
