Teflon Paint treatment/protection

Does anyone know of a teflon product that is applied to paint and immediately removed while still wet which is supposed to enhance the paint (clearcoat)?

What do you mean by "enhance the paint"?

Teflon requires application at a very high temperature (something like 340*F) in order to bond to a surface. Unless you plan to wax your car in a giant furnace, don't be fooled by the marketing gimmick of Teflon-laced waxes.

Oh BTW, even if you were to wax your car in a giant furnace, the melting point of wax is far below ~340*F, so you would melt the wax off anyway.

DuPont came up with this Teflon idea (I think it's a great marketing idea, since it fools so many consumers) and people think that their cars will have a great, non-stick surface just like their cookware.

For Teflon to work it must be applied under great heat and pressure. Teflon in a product like wax is just a marketing scheme.

Dupont has even said teflon in car waxes, sealants have no effect. SHAME on those who say teflon works in auto detailing.
