Techno purple bimmer and my new daily driver

Way2SSlow

~werd to yo mutha~
This M3 vert belongs to a friend of my mother's. It's a 99 with 26k on the clock. No interior pics because it looks like a 26k mile interior (other than a little fading). They washed it before they brought it to me so that saved me some time. Pay no attention to the other dirty cars, I was worn out that day and wasnt in the mood to mess with them after the bimmer.

Here's my new daily. 2004 Ford Focus ZX3 with a bit over 25K on it. I didnt really have the time to go nuts on the focus, BUT I couldnt stand to drive it the way it was. Guy that had it before me took incredible care of the car mechanically, but when I got it, it looked like it had never seen soap and water. Again, no interior pics, because, this time, I didnt even touch the interior. Exterior really needs a little bit more time spent on it, but I had somewhere to be, and I'll hit it with OCW until I get some lovely spring weather.

The focus got clayed with clay magic

polished with Poorboys Pro Polish

waxed with the OG natty's.

I bet the M3 was sorta fun to do- that's a pretty cool color IMO. The white focus oughta make a practical dd, especially detailing-wise, a whole different situation from your SS.

Here's one of the SS. It's got OCW on it. It's still smooth and beading well, but the look is starting to fade away. I will repolish and go to AIO/Souveran in the spring. I put this pic here because my bud commented about how it looked shiny and I said "this is how it looked when I pulled the cover off it this morning." :D The wheels are screaming for a polishing, but Poorboys wheel sealant has kept them looking pretty good for a lot longer than I had expected (they are bare aluminum).

All three look magnificient! I love the color on the M3, nothing like a black SS but the Focus is most impressive with how wet the white paint looks!

Thanks guys.

Accumulator,

The wheels are a pain to polish, but the wheel sealant seems to keep them looking pretty good....it's obviously on it's way out in those pics. I'm just holding off until spring when I pull the wheels to clean tie insides. It's easier on the back to polish them off the car too. Oh yeah, the M3 was a lot more fun driving it back to the owner with the top down than it was detailing it. I did this a few weeks back and she still hastn driven it int he rain yet! :D

GMblack,

The SS has 102K on it. THe paint is really starting to show it's age though. The pictures make it look a lot better than it actually does. You'll also notice that I have never posted a closeup shot of the hood. It has crows feet all over it. I'm just waiting for my bud to be able to do some sidework and then I should be getting the car painted (hopefully). If the weather is nice, and I dont get sucked into anything the weekend of the next Atlanta meet, I'll bring the SS....it's kinda sad up close, but it doesnt look so bad in pics.

Thanks again guys.
