Probably not a news flash for dedicated cheap skates but ....

Target is selling their Meguiar's and Amour All Detailing Christmas Gift Boxes at 50% off. They are considered part of the Christmas clearance but aren't posted as such. Use a scanner to verify price. They usually are on an end cap near the automotive section.

7-8 products for $12.50-$14.50. This year the holder is a box (not much value there)

If you like to risk it you can wait til New Year's when the price usually goes to 75% off but are harder to find.

yeah, i noticed they had plenty of the AA, megs, and vroom kits available at 1/2 off at my local target (didn't seem like there were many shoppers this year). i would of gotten one, but wouldn't really didn't need any of the items and i have too much stuff as it is that i need to use up first...

couldn't resist so i bought a few of the megs kits for a whopping $7.49 today, as they were clearanced at 75% off... :)

heck, i even bought a AA one for $6.24 today LOL. i needed some AA tire foam and this box included the fierce shine version (wanted the original, but what the heck) which would of been around $4-$5 alone, so all the other stuff is basically freebies...

Target always has good holiday sales. A couple years ago they had Zymol gift boxes for $8. They had their car wash, cleaner wax, quick detailer, leather cleaner and conditioner and some other stuff.

Al, (I have to look out for you buddy, because you did the same for me with the Viking towels)), but did you know that the AA tire foam contains silicone?

i've been using AA tire foam for years with no problems whatsoever (the tire gel is awesome too). it's inexpensive, looks good, and can be found just about anywhere... :up

I saw a post by Setec Astronomy the other day about this very subject in which he referenced a decent article. Give it a read, when you get a moment.

Obviously if you have been using it for years with no ill effects then of course continue. I have used it in the past because of the very reasons that you mentioned (easy to use, availability, and costs). :spot
