What do you use for tar?!?!?!? I have tried EVERYTHING. I can barely budge some of the tar.

I need somthing in bulk.

Hmm, well, clay would do it. Good paint cleaners, like GEPC or AIO, should help, too. Bug and tar removers are good. (Is this what you were looking for...?)

3M has a Wax, Tar, and Grease remover that's excellent. You can buy it in quart sizes at most auto parts stores like NAPA. Small sizes are available at WalMart.

Have you tried mineral spirits or naptha? Most tar removers are made of these chemicals.

Gas Line Anti Freeze....or if you need alot of it, look for Methyl Hydrate. It'll strip wax off a car faster than (almost) anything else, but so far it's beat all other products I've found for tar, tree sap, egg, old bugs, etc.

I recently was recommended a product called De-solve-it...found it at a local hardware store...citrus based...works very well...spray a little on...let sit a couple of minutes...wipes off...nice smell too. Will also remove old bumperstickers. Removes old white wax residue off rubber....very useful product.

WD-40. I tried putting a lttle on a rag, but I ended up spraying it on the truck and let it sit for about 10 minutes. The tar just wiped right off!

Then I had to rewash the wd40 off. I used a rag with pure car wash on it. Had to rince then reapply a few times to remove all the wd40.

EF Tar Remover is the strongest tar remover I have ever used and I love it to death. It's a shame I can't get any more of it. :(
