Well I'm polishing my civic today and I can't get my tape to stick to my trim!!! I have tried two different rolls (brands) of painters tape. Anyone else ever ran into this problem? Its really getting on my nerves.

Yea if you have dressed it then the tape won't stick very well. I have had that problem. normally I have just dealt wth it but maybe I'll try the green next time, thanks for the recommendation.

Sctoch and 3M I think.
I did put dressing on it (mothers back to black) but that was a few weeks ago. It does not feel slick or oily to the touch :-\
Ill try the green later. I have been able to kind of get it stick tonight so.

That's why the tape won't stick. Clean off the dressing and the tape will stick. Then when your done with the paint, re apply the dressing. You can use rubbing alcohol to remove the dressing.
