their tuffed foam pads might be a better choice
Have the orange and yellow, used 'em maybe a half dozen times but wasn't too impressed with them. Seemed to have a lot of sporadic contact with the victim. Polish didn't spread very well on the pad, more was absorbed up into it rendering a good portion of the polish wasted and pad ineffective. WannaFBody, MorBid, what did I do wrong?

I recently used a Lake Country 41-005 Fast Cut wool compounding pad with a rotary set at 1200 RPMs to remove some "cloudy" white paint from a repainted hood. . . . came out great with results I wanted, except some crazy swirling! . . . I wish I had the wool polishing pad to try.
Good account of your experience, thank you. I think I will pick up a Wool/Acrylic Knitted, Electrified Sheepskin, Lambswool and a 50/50 Twist/Untwist. . . burn through a few of my need-to-be-repainted test panels and see what I like. Will report back.
