Hey mgm!

Your pics remind me an earlier thread/pic with a Kia Sorento & Souverän. I think FK looks every bit as good if not glossier. Blade sharp reflections, awesome, deep gloss, but not artificial. How do you like the FK products? I LOVE them! I'm using a lot of 303, 2180 and Pink. Ah, and I'm stunned by their 425 detailing spray!

Great work!

FK products are top shelf in my book. Have you tried #218? It's like liquid Pink Wax and leaves a killer carnuba look (something most sealers can't do).

Setec Astronomy: The dealerships paid me $500 to keep them. -Ha, I wish! I just haven't taken the time to remove them. I'll get around to it one of these days :)

The sooner the better...the longer you leave them the harder they are to get off.

Great work on those vehicles. The Tahoe looks awesome. However, Is that a smudge on the hood? I can't believe you left a smudge on the hood..LOL! Everytime I do my wifes SUV the kids just HAVE to touch it...........instant smudge and a "QUIT TOUCHING THE CAR!!"..........LOL

Great job

ahhh, the new STS. like thats not the sweetest array of headlights. sssswwweeeeeettt.

cant see no smudge.

omg, that sts is looking amazing! such wetness on silver!

Thanks.

So far, I've been really impressed with the Finish Kare line of products. #330 & #303 leave a very wet looking finish, that's for sure. I also like them because they work very well on a DA polisher and rotary.

Hey man, pull those dealer ads off those things!

That is something I would normally do, but around here there are 2 big Cadillac dealers - one good, one not so good. I don't want people to think I bought from the one that is not so good so I left the badging from the dealer on.

Heh, why would you care what other people think of the dealer you bought it from?

Truly superb work on both! The Tahoe is as good as I have ever seen black paint look and the STS looks absolutely killer. :)

Thanks Scott.

I've learned soooooo many things (and still am….) on black paint that I would have never ‘dialed in’ with a lighter color. Everything from how you wash and dry, to seeing HUGE differences in how polishes & abrasives react, etc…. You really do learn a lot working with black (IMO). I’ll probably always have a black ride in the garage, but I doubt if I EVER buy a large SUV in black again. There’s simply too much real-estate to keep up with.

mgm121499,

Both the Tahoe and your STS look Really wet, deep and reflective! :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

It is your great prep work that really shines here! Keep up the sweet work.

Cheers,
