tags on my MF???

I can truthfully say that folding my MF towels so the tag isn't showing/exposed is a PITA! Does anyone have any suggestions before I start to take the tags off of the MF's that I have? I did a search for this, but only turned up with towel comparisons. Thanks.

Agreed, folding the towel to hide the tag is a real pain! You also run the risk of accidentally exposing the tag and scratching your paint! While removing the tag is even more of a PITA than folding, you only have to do it once for each towel.



As 4DSC said, vr6veedub’s illustrated instructions are excellent. :xyxthumbs If you have a third hand it’s easier to cut along the stitching holes without damaging the stitching by holding the towel in one hand and pulling the tag away from the towel with your other hand so that it clearly exposes the holes in the tag where the serging machine attached the tag. With your third hand very carefully cut the tag along this line of holes with a razor blade.

I just pulled the tags off a few of mine, none too gently, to see what would happen. They unraveled a little bit, but not too bad, and they don't seem to be getting worse. Not the optimal method by any means, but...
