made it alot easier to work thats for sure, its in the 40's out and i would have had to have been on my hands and knees lol, i just did it on a table in the garage. Took a good 4 hours to get it nice and clean where the water wasnt coming out black, the blue magic worked wonders, about 30 seconds after i sprayed it on the heavy unknown stains, it was lifting right out, and using the woolite oxy pre treatment worked great as well, now it smells nice and fresh.
Yeah, 40 degrees isn't an optimum temp for drying carpets and having your hands in water for long periods.
I'll add one caveat. Make certain that you have removed all soap residues to prevent re-spotting. If you have a janitorial supply or good carpet company check out an "all fiber rinse" type product. A must have, IMO.

Did you like the "turbo brush?" I've never used one. (I have a "basic" heated LGM.)
In the future, since you are able to remove your carpet, you could also try spraying them with the wands at the local car wash. You can "blow out" lots of deep stuff this way. You can also use a squeegee to remove the "standing" water and their vac to help get rid of more residue. This method also works well for carpeted mats (and rubber, just use the wheel brush to scrub and spray off.)

turbo brush is junk, it spins so slowly i can touch it with my pinky and stop it from moving, and as far as the suction with it, horrible as well, as the wider the nozzle gets the less suction overall, not to mention that the brush relys on suction to move so ... plus you cant use both at the same time, its either spinning brush OR suction. But for what its worth the standard 3 inch nozzle works great. Id never use this on home carpets, because of how much water it leaves behind, but for an automotive solution, which was my original intention anyway, its a great little tool.
