Switching from Zaino to Klasse - Have questions

I've been really happy with Zaino except for 2 things, Z seems to lighten the color of my dark blue truck and dust seems to be attracted to Z6.

I thought I would switch to Klasse and have a few questions. First I don't want to use a topper, will I still get the darkening deepness others claim to get from Klasse? Next what washes and QD work best with Klasse? I thought about Gold Class Shamppoo and Final Inpection but wasn't sure how they react with Klasse. Can you use a QD between AIO and SG and each subsequent coat of SG? If so is one reccommended over another? It's easy with Zaino it's all made to work with each other.

The subjectiveness of all this makes it mind boggling!

This past winter during my ground-up detailing I played with both Zaino and Klasse on my Jet Black roadster. Klasse did seem to darken the color, had a little more depth than Zaino, but was a little less reflective. Sonüs Sonacrylix QD gave excellent results. My final choice was Zaino because I couldn’t find a way to apply Klasse SG that didn’t require rubbing (instead of wiping) for removal.

As always, YMMV!

Back when I was using Klasse AIO/SG, I mixed a little SG in with my Final Inspection QD. Others have done this, and there was once a thread that gave the specific amount to mix. I think that thread may have been lost in the big crash, but I just squirted about 1/2 ounce of SG into a regular sized bottle of FI.

Interesting idea Dave - I must have missed that post. :up

That said, almost any non-carnauba containing QD will work for cleaning up between layers. I doubt it'd "help" like the Sonus might though.

I have used AIO/SG on both silver and black cars. I found that, as stated above, it was difficult to completely remove the SG and required rubbing on the black car. However, waxing over the SG takes care of the problem easily.
