Swissol Pre-Wax Cleaners

All three will have a 'filling' effect, because they are oil based.Of the three grades, the Cleaner fluid will have the most 'filling' effect,as it is only really designed to clean the paint, and prepare it for wax,or a fresh coat of wax as part of the six monthly schedule.

Cleaner fluid Medium, and Cleaner fluid Strong, both contain 'micro' abrasives that break down as the product is worked in,so unlike comparable products from competitors, these two grades of cleaner fluid are capable of removing swirls etc,by hand or,at slow speed by DA/rotary.

Ah, thanks dude.

Swissol are very slow to respond.

I may try Strong by Random Orbital. I the formula similar to Z-PC you think?

The Swissol Cleaner Fluid Strong, will stay wet for longer;it probably 'cuts' similar to Z pc,but it really is not the same as it is oil based, and responds best to slow speed by machine.

Sounds good.

I don't like Z-pc much. I find it leaves trace marks and doesn't finish up as fine as say, Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD.

I've used the light cleaner fluid and then Onyx and liked the results for a cheaper option.

I've also used Mystery without any Swissol Cleaner Fluid and I think that was a bad idea, the Swissol waxes tend to perform better with the cleaner fluid first.

I've also used Zymol Vintage with HD Cleanse and that was, imo, as good a result as mystery even though it is worth about 4 times the price, in Australia anyway.

Thanks for the info dude.

I agree with your findings;you will always get the best results by using Cleaner Fluid first,or by going through the three grades(if needed) before your choice of wax.

The Medium, and Strong Cleaner fluid, will finish down perfect, ready for wax. They are also very user friendly;they don't dry 'chalky' if you forget to wipe some residue away,as they do not contain any Kapolite.

That's it! I'm going to prepare a car by rotary and then try Medium and Mystery.

I'll post pics in this thread asap.

Thanks for your opinons/knowledge.

OK.

Had an Alfa to do today and used the medium cleaner fluid.

Here is the damage:

Menzerna Intensive Polish on Edge Green

Menzerna Final Finish on Edge White

Swissvax Medium Cleaner Fluid on Edge White

Swissvax Cleaner Fluid by hand on Microfibre Hand Pocket Applicator

Swissvax Concorso by hand, removed with two Ultra Soft Microfibre Cloths.

The heat today in Melbourne ~35 degrees C (95 degrees F) made removing the very fine swirls/spiderwebbing very difficlut. The medium followed by light cleaner fluid made the difference and made the paint flat as a tack.
