Just got this today:clap::clap::clap:

Paint was pretty cloudy lookin, it had been in the prev owners workshop covered in sawdust for a number of months, so I set out to clean it up a bit. No means 100% correction, but an improvement for now. I only did a one step on it, I might do more thorough correction sometime in the future, I just wanted it looking better for now, and didn't wanna spend too much time on the paint today.

Process:

Wash

Clay

M105/OP 50/50 - white lc CCS 6" and 4" pads via rotary

You can see the colour shift pretty nicely here, dark blue and green metallic flake.

Looks pretty damn good to me for a one-stepper.

How'd you like the 105/OP 50/50 mixture by the way? Can you tell us in detail your experience with it (working time, ease of use, gumming, hopping)? I was actually thinking of trying some varying 105/OP mixes as well to extend its work-in time.

I like it a lot, unfortunately it still dusts a little bit, but it gives it a MUCH longer working time; it pretty much feels like OP with more cut.
