Swirls After Using UPP...

I washed...then clayed...then used Megs #9...then used Ultimate Paint Protection pre-cleaner...then used UPP.

It looked really good after I finished.

Today is the first time that I have washed it after using the UPP.

It looks like it has swirl marks on it.

What could have caused these? Did I do something wrong?

I used the cyclo with the Megs #9 & UPC...could that have caused it to have swirl marks?

HELP!

Most probably you didn't remove the swirls back then. You could only cause swirls applying the UPP if you were using a steel wool applicator.

When I used the UPP...my finish was perfect...not a swirl in it.

I don't know what happened...now i am sick.

Do you think that when i used the Megs #9 and the cyclo, that the pads may have caused it?

No, I am the only one that washes it, and i never touched it before today. It is black too.

I don't know what to do?

Isn't this the fun part? I'm always looking for an excuse to do it all again on my car. :bounce

I liked it after the initial application.

Now I don't know what caused the swirl marks.

I guess I will just have to live with them I guess.

I guess my car is ruined.

Can anyone Help me?

Red Truck- Fellow Cyclo user here. Which pads did you use with the products?

I haven't used PUPP (yet), but sometimes swirls "come back" after a product's oils evaporate a little. BUT.. you were sure you had them out of there after using the #9 :nixweiss

Do they LOOK like small, caused-by-Cyclo-type swirls?

I've used products up to and including Diamond Cut with the PC and purple cutting pads and never induced any type of swirl.

Sounds like you just covered em up with something and they came back when the fillers washed out.

Its a very rare vehicle you can actually get every single swirl mark and scratch out without having to 'hide' some with the glaze/sealant and wax toppers.
