Well, I don't really have any before shots, because I couldnt get any direct paint condition shots today for some reason, so here are the afters. I love soft Honda paint :D

Process:

Wash

Clay

Optimum Polish on white LC VC pad via rotary

Topped with S100

Tires dressed w/ E1

Windows cleaned with Stoners IG

Total time: 3.5 - 4 hours

Man you made that car look WET!:woohoo:

What motor is in it? I see it has Si on the back; B16a2? or is it the d16y8? Cause in the U.S. the Si bad is a sticker and its red...

He previously had a 2000 Si that I detailed last summer, condition was around that, and luckily I had before pics of that car:

WOW!!! Great job! I have an '02 Accord that is the "BlackHawk Pearl Black and can never get it quite that "wet". I just got some P21S and will have to give that a shot!!

Thank ya. He actually bought the car like that so...Hes planning to get new wheels and lower it soon I think. The Si wheels here for that gen are just hubcaps I think haha.

Very nice work on black paint:goodjob . Black paint is always the hardest to perfect. I recently gave FPII a go again on black paint and have to say there was a noticeable improvement over OP that I usually use. If you have some try it.

Looks great. I can relate to how soft black Honda paint is. I can stand 10 feet away from our Honda with a towel in my hand and the paint will start to swirl. :)

I don't have any FPII, but I think I'll buy some when I get back from Hawaii :D

I guess thats the downside to having such soft paint, easy to marr as well as correct lol.

My 03 Jetta has soft paint as well  . It's the only VW paint I've come across that was soft, most are rock hard. I found using a PC I couldn't get a 100% clear finish, with the rotary it was easy. Have fun in Hawaii.

Oh I will, and I find it funny that its been such nasty weather, and today I wake up, blue skies and sun on the day I leave!
