This should help you through any of your surface care issues.

For the DAS ScratchBuster Pad or Sonus SFX-1 Swirl and Scratch Remover Pad, use a fine-cut compound to remove scratch & water spot damage. Use a swirl remover polish to remove heavy swirl marks with your speed setting at 4 to 6.

For the DAS SwirlBuster Pad or Sonus SFX-2 Paint Polishing Pad, use a swirl remover polish to remove swirl marks, oxidation and minor insect/bird damage with your speed setting set at 3 to 5.

For the DAS Polishing Pad, use with a final finish polish, pre-wax cleaner polish or a liquid cleaner/wax to maintain full paint gloss a remove fine very swirl marks with your speed set at about 3 on the dial.

For the DAS Wax and Finishing Pad or Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish & Wax Pad, use to apply your favorite liquid wax or paint sealant with your speed set at 1 to 3.

Remember to always use the least aggressive product you can to get the job done. The product you are using is on the more agressive side so if you just have some swirl or lighter issues you might want to step down in aggressiveness or only use it on areas where it may be needed.

hey Lynn,

i used the swirlbuster pad before and it did an ok job... i'm a newb and probably did not do it correctly.

what i should of said was... i do not want to do this twice. i understand i am supposed to work from less aggressive, but it takes me like 6-8 hours on a detail. i am not out of shape, BUT DANG... polishing again will only make me want to blow up my car.

If you are simply trying to remove swirl, I would recommend a different polish like the

Sonus SwirlBuster Polish, Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Swirl Remover Polish or Ultima Paint Prep Plus. You can't just use one product and be done when you are using something aggressive. If you are not happy with your end results, then yes, you need to polish again or live with what you have. It sounds like you may just need to concentrate your work.
