Hi, I would like to ask for your opinion regarding a swirl remover. Which one would you prefer between the following products (over all performance): Zaino Z-PC, Megs, Optimum, Menzerna or PB SSR's and why?

Thanks

well you really should search for this as many people have different preferences. it depends on how bad the swirls are, the condition of the paint, the time you have, the pads you are using, the polisher you are using...stuff like that. you have to be more specific. i will put my input in here tho, my go to heavy swirl remover right now is menzerna intensive polish with a lake county yellow cutting pad. i just ordered some optimum compound and polish so that might be my new go to swirl remover since they get so much praise here

Welcome.

First, I never used Zaino or Meg's swirl removers, so I can't speak on them.

However, I've used Optimum Polish, Optimum Compound, PB SSRs' 1 and 2.5,

and Menzerna Powergloss, Intensive Polish, Final PolishII, and a few other

higher end polishes from Menzerna. I don't really have a favorite

per se'; i simply use what I feel to use at a given moment. But if I had

to choose only one brand, it would have to be the Optimum line.

Reasons:

1. Optimum works well iwth both d/a and rotary machines. PB SSRs work

better IMO with d/a, and Menzerna products work better with rotaries.

2. Optimum uses the type of pad as the basis for the cut/ polish work.

3. Optimum is extremely cost effective versus all the other brands.

4. Optimum has a slight learning curve, but once you get over it, the finish you

can get will easliy match that of Menzerna's excellent polishes, and at a much

lower price to boot.

5. Long workability, with minimal to no dusting.
