Swirl Remover#9 V Swirl Remover 2.0 V Scratch X



Whats the difference these 3 products ?



My car has swirls(its black!!) and a few scratches, I was thinking of using one of the above and the some NXT Wax.



Which of the above is best or whats the difference ?

By now, all #9 should be version 2.0 unless it's very old stock. Even Canada is finally seeing its new "2.0" labelling, but for a long time it didn't indicate 2.0 even though it supposedly was. Get 2.0 if you can as it is reportedly better.



Scratch-X should be a bit stronger than #9 in accordance to its intended job to remove scratches.



I'm not sure if the difference between them is great enough to warrant buying both, but by hand Scratch-X might be more effective on swirls and scratches. Keep in mind that either product might not be strong enough, so try to find something even stronger if you can for your "backup plan".



If you don't get enough help here in the Meguiar's forum, you can always ask something like this in Autopia University - I am sure there are dozens of people out there that would know the answer to these better than I do.
