swing arm halogen lights?

I know I've seen them, but now I can't find them! Does anyone know who carries them? They're wall mounted swing arm (two section) halogen work lights. Just like the tripod light heads but on a wall mount. I think they were bright green? I've searched on line (HD, Lowe's, Sears) and Googled every combination I can think of (swing arm, work light, halogen, articulated, wall mount, etc.) and just cannot find them!

I'm putting together a race shop and the room has suspended ceilings so I need a wall mount light source for over the workbench.

Anyone know where to find them?

I think that would definitely be a cool thing to have. I've actually never even seen them but hoped to bring this thread back to life a little in hopes of a response.

Hello, Someone else in one of these post had mentioned lightinguniverse.com I went there because I to Am looking for that specific light. If you go there and look under portable work lights there it is. A very nice light by the way.

good luck I hope it works out for you. :woohoo:

I ended up getting mine from somewhere else. Can't think of the name right now, but they were about $20 less. They are BRIGHT green. So bright in fact that I painted the arms silver just to tone it down some. Appear to be very well made-heavier duty than most halogens. Haven't mounted them yet, but will be soon.

$24 less then Northern Tool.

If you get one, make sure you have something sturdy to bolt it to. Where I'm putting them is paneling with no studs where I need them. I'm making a 12" x 12" x 1" solid oak backer plate that I'll toggle bolt to the wall and them bolt the lights to them to help spread the load. These suckers are heavy and with the leverage, would rip right out of a normal wall.
