Surbuf with flex

Hey guys,

I just purchased some surbuf pads to use with my flex. I needed something more aggressive than the orange hydro-tech pads for the deeper scratches on my Vw golf.

What is everyone's opinion on the surbuf with the flex?

Any tips on how to best use the surbuf on the flex with HD Uno?

I have used them with my flex but it makes you do a three step polish to get all the micro marring out but they do work well. Some times i can get away with SIP after and the finish comes out great.

the hydrotech tangerine (or orange, you said) is a low-cut pad. Their cyan (blue) pad is their cutting pad.

I have use Surbuf with the flex, it's aggressive and seems to 'cook' M105 on the paint, making it a bear to remove. I did try it with D300 and that was VERY easy to remove and it had great cut

I really like the surbuf pads with the flex. Recently did my daily driver using 2 surbuf pads,

one with 105 and the other with 205 going panel to panel switching pads. 105, wipe down, switch

pads, 205, wipe down. Came out awesome. I did use a pad cleaning tool to keep the pad clean

and from being overloaded with product and getting matted down.
