I just got my order from CMA!! Heres what I got:



Blackfire polish

Blackfire protectant

Blackfire QD

303 Aerospace protectant

P21S wheel cleaner

Microfiber package

applicator package



I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend! Hopefully it won't rain again and spoil all my fun. I will post before and after pictures of my blue WRX as soon as I'm finished.

Good luck, but one question: What surface prep are you going to do? A lot of the final results depend on the surface prep (clay, abrasives) so I was just curious. On new cars you can usually just get away with a quick clay and PPCL or something of the like.



Be sure to post pics when you do the Milano ;)
 
For surface prep I'm going to wash with Dawn to remove all old wax, use mothers clay to remove surface contamination, then wash with Meguiars goldclass shampoo. I was advised by others on the forum to skip on the PPCL with new paint as is wasnt needed, and was a nit too abrasive. If I come accross any swirls or light scratches I'll hit the panel with some SMR before I apply the Blackfire polish & protectant.



Any advice? Am I missing anything here?

Here's a pic of the Milano for you (sorry my gf is blocking the view hehe)... I can't wait to see how good it looks after properly preped and Blackfired!!
 
If you want to save time, you could (please dont beat me to death), could skip the dawn, by the time you wash with gold class, clay w/ mothers and use the BF polish, there will be no wax, oil left on the surface and it will be more than prepped.

She is definitely hotter than my car, you're right. I have a picture of her in a formal dress standing in front of an 1980-something Ferrari GTO (RED!) and she still attracts more attention! :D

The hood was off the car because I had just finished putting in my rebuilt race motor... I think she looks better on there instead of the hood anyway ;)
 
Who owns the 164's in the background of one of the pics? You are from Poway, right? I heard about you b/c we went to the same high school and people seemed to think we drove the same car:rolleyes:.
