The owner brought his wifes mariner to me to because she decided to not vacuum, wash, wax ect.. the car ever since they bought it (about a year ago). He wanted me to focus more on the interior and removing a few small scuff marks on the exterior surfaces rather than full correction. He also asked for paint protection. And this car was a mess.

On to my process:

Interior:

-Vacuum everything.

-Shampoo carpets with APC and 303.

-Hot water extract with shop vac.

-leave to dry out, then scotchgaurd.

-Magic erase all plastics, vinyl and some rubber parts.

-Clean leather with Sonus Leather Cleaner.

-Condition Leather with Sonus Leather Conditioner.

-Protect Plastics and vinyl with Sonus Plastic/Vinyl cote.

-Windows cleaned with Sonus Window and Clear plastic cleaner.

Exterior:

-Wash with Sonus High-Gloss Shampoo.

-Clay ( the paint was not bad at all as far as contaminants go, only the lower body panels/ behind the wheels.)

-Spot polish minor surface defects with SFX-1 and orange DAS Pad.

-Seal all surfaces with KAIO, then P21s.

-Tires and black plastic treated with Sonus Rubber/ Plastic treatment.

Some comments:

-I should have quickly given the car a once over with SFX-3 to give the paint a little more gloss and depth.

-The sonus leather combo worked great.

-I NEED a steam and/ or carpet extractor- i spent a good 3 hours on just the carpets and still couldent get out some tough stains.. ( they were a mess.)

-A foam gun would be nice to speed up my washing process.

-My well water left horrible spotting on the windows, thank god KAIO took them off.

Thanks, thats what her husband told me. I doubt that it wills that clean, it will be back here next month most likely.

Good job on it! If she doesn't want to take care of it, it just means more business for you. Hopefully it's a good thing.
