Wondering what you all like to use for interior detail? Here are a couple of things that I use to make it easier to dust and dress airvents and tight spots.

For applying dressing I use the densest foam brush I can find because it will lay down a smoother layer of dressing than an airy flexible foam will.

<strong class='bbc'>What are your favorites?[/b]

the ones you show there shortcut for applying like lacquer...i think yosteve got me hooked on them...they get inot all the little corners so well...otherwise i just use MF's....ps..and a little paint brush for the vents.....:up

ps...i deserve an honorable mention for the new name you got there shorty/....:p

Thank you Floni immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, love that outfit too. I have to give credit to my fans. Thank ya, Thank ya very much. You autopians are very cool cats. The King loves clean cars too. Kinda funny how you're calling <strong class='bbc'>me[/b] shorty.

Ok I'll make you a deal. No more Elvis pictures if you share your interior detailing tools and methods with me. Please...

Floni what did you get me going on Elvis for anyway :p

:) dont blame me...thats God punishing u for stealing the sig thingy from me and not giving me a royalty check... ..............ok....you got vacuum the whole inside at local gas station(...i hate it but what to do?)...just shampooed with woolite heavy traffic and then followed up with 303 fabric guard....loved the results(wish the fabirc guard smelled like the woolite though)

...water just beads up now on top of the carpet....then treat the weathertechs i have on top of the front carpets mats with a damp terry and follow up with a nice coat of 303.....wipe down the whole interior with a damp Mf every wk and 303 all over the dash/vinyl every other wk....plexus on the instrument panel/radio/light covers....pinnacle leather conditioner to all seats /steering wheel with a foam applicator then buffed with terry til nice and matte looking(i gotta rethink this one r/t that whole clearcoated leather thing )...might just go with 303 every 2 wks/1 a mth from now on...man ill miss that pinnacle smell.....:( ............Mf(sometimes Viper) to all inside windows thats been soaked with ISA...then buff out with flannel towel....dmap Mf(water only )to all acrylic covered wood trim....the only other thing i use i think is Xenit for scuff marks and the like....then i fall into a slight semi-com from the concentrated smell of that stuff...:p ok im tired....its actually sunny for 2 seconds outside today...gotta wash my babay!!!!!!!!!!

Griots Interior Cleaner: dont use alot of Griots stuff but this stuff is awesome.

Leather/vinyl brush from CMA: nice little tool, especially for neglected interiors

Stiff China brislte brush: great for stuborn stains.

CMA carpet brush: good brush.

That foam brush idea sounds really good i have to try it out.

and they have so many different sizes..and shapes.........its great for getting into the vents...putting on 303 or Griots in a small area...like near the instrument panell...so if i want to put some plexus on that...but dont want it on the vinyl....a MF has a little run over...but the foamy puts it exactly and only where you want whatever you put on it....steve gets all the credit for putting me onto them....boy i hate to admit that:p................

ps...brad i usually hate winter but i tell you...im really excited about after this winter to try the ABC ..............after your review....man i cant wait...to get al that winter crap off of my paint....:up

Yeah, you feel better after using the ABC, its like a sauna and nice cool shower for your car. Hope you like it. Thanks for the tip on the foam thingies Ill be sure to use them next time.:up

I have been watching the Zaino website, I love their yellow and white detail towels and they have disappeared :(.....I e-mailed Sal.....no answer back.
They are the worlds softest towels, its like looking for hens teeth to find a replacement...:(....any one got a good source for primo soft cottons ?

RJ/SS - I ordered some Zaino replacement products a few months ago, and they inserted a page for buying towels, when I was going through the process to complete the transaction on line.

Did you buy some product from them recently?

Dan F

I have like ten of the yellow ones and they are awfully soft. I never saw them on their website so I don't know what happened to them. Call Sal he'll talk with you.
