Sunroof treatment/protection

Morning all,

The crewcab F250 I bought this year has a sunroof. Never having had a sunroof in the past, I was wondering what the general consensus was for treatment of the glass?

The truck is too big to fit in the garage so it is out 24/7. I bought the Ultima sampler kit and am very impressed with the shine and water beading/sheeting on the paint.

I was considering claying the sunroof and applying the Ultima PGP to the glass to protect from water spots.

I also have a partial bottle of original Rain-X that I've been using on the side mirrors that I could use on the sunroof.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks in advance

Randy

I usually clay/polish/wax them. Avoid the surrounding trim. You will want to clean inside the sunroof around the edges and the trim from time to time. Also, treat the seals.

I'm with Tom any of that works, but Aquapel lasts the longest for me so I just apply it when I apply it to my windows.
