Sunday's E55 - BLING! (56k+)

I've got to say, I didn't even KNOW these wheels were as bright as they were... Thank goodness for P21S gel wheel cleaner... Unfortunately, my light wasn't very good for either before or after photos (nearly forgot to get the befores - the car was wet when I took them).

I also neglected to get the engine shots. I was a little worried about tripping a code (as much as I've read about engine cleaning on MB's), but with a little luck and careful washing, that wasn't a problem. The underhood looked great, no dressing required (!!).

We also went ahead and washed up the client's wife's E320 wagon (which I gave the full treatment a couple of weeks ago, right before a long road trip with the kids) and threw some AIO/SG on its wheels.

Wow, looks amazing!

I agree with the second pic...great angle, great detail.

Was that P21s wheel cleaner x 1 to clean up those wheels?

thanks gsr... it was x1.5 - the second shot was very light (might i mention that this stuff doesn't go a long way for $17 :P ) and we'd only rinsed the wheels a little to see how it was going.

There wasn't TOO much agitation required, except on the inside of the wheels, which still didn't come very clean. I've never had good luck with the insides if they've not been taken care of very well or protected to begin with.

paul: i love this p21s cleaner. I'm going to order it by the gallon from now on :)

beason: definitely. i think i'll love it more when i get to test drive it the next time i'm over there!

series1, lee: thanks. nice house, eh? he showed me the brochure for his next car (this fall)... Bentley Continental GT :shocked
