Hey everyone,

For the last few months I've been doing extensive research and legwork in relocating my shop to Hawaii, more than likely the big Island or Oahu. Right now everything is on paper and looks like it could happen. If ANYONE has ANY bits of information or stories they would share (maybe you know someone who details there or "a freind of a friend told me"....etc.)I would be very happy to hear them.

I currently live on Maui but I licved on Oahu for 13 years and the big island for 2. Been in the islands for 17+ years so know the market pretty well. Any "specific" questions you need answered, feel free to ask.

Dangit, I want to open up shop there! I went there for a week and its the first time I actually went for a week without air conditioning, and I was still comfortable.

If everything works out, anyone who hits the Island for a vacation would ALWAYS be welcomed to come by the shop and crank out a car or two if they want (extra vacation money!)

Shoot, we could all pool our money...buy a shop...and take monthly turns working it...call it "Detail City"

We will be hiring within 6-8 months for a position helping with shipping/receiving/internet order fulfillment down in Sarasota, FL.

Heh I'd love to dwayne but it was an idle suggestion, otherwise i'd be asking for an app. I am going back to school this fall for the first time in a while. Looks like koop will be putting away the good old upp for a while in a couple months. On the bright side i won't have to do work at the ol' shop anymore. Body work isn't very fullfilling to me. Pluss it's forcing me to get my car done! It will have paint on it for the first time in almost two years this saterday! I'm so excited.
