Suggestion Giveaway: Black Pontiac G6

RaysWay

Intro:

Alright I`ve got a black Pontiac G6 scheduled for this Sunday and thought it would be the perfect vehicle to feature products on.

The black paint is in very rough condition with what looked like deep scratches and scuff marks from a brillo pad on sections of the paint. The owner has decided to keep the car and wants to give it a full makeover with a coating as the final protection. The interior will be cleaned, steamed, and conditioned as well. I`m going to go with the Leatherique duo for the leather seats.

Picture is an example of the car, but not the actual car that will be detailed.

Polish angel Viking coating, the pre polish can be used as step down from compound.......

I know you are a fan of Gloss Coat so I am going to suggest a double coat of that as your coating followed by a coat of opti-seal to protect it for the 7 day cure time.

Polish Angel Glasscoat Cosmic. The picture in the store on black paint is amazing. I`m sure he would drop jaws even in a G6 haha.

I`m going with a PTG, a Rupes Nano and CarPro Essence as the primer for Cquartz!

I would suggest the blackfire duo to compound and perfect the paint. Then the WG uber ceramic coating to coat and protect the car. So easy to use and gives very nice shine. Not to mention durable too.

Meg`s d300 on a microfiber cutting pad (new LCs?). Finish with Essence(LC microfiber finishing pad) and coat with PBLv2. Solution Finish on trim. McKees Iron Remover and the new Mother`s 2.0 synthetic clay.

Well, since it`s a coating I guess we can`t see a 50/50 of Griots PFM Wax Removal towel vs another towel. I want to see this magic. I guess I`ll go with some Poorboy`s love and say Poorboy`s Tornado Pad Cleaner.

Use something common and inexpensive and yet very effective for the correction step(s):

Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System
D300 with the DA Microfiber Cutting Discs and DA Microfiber Finishing Discs

Always pleased with what D300 and the cutting discs can handle and finishes nicely even before the D301 and Finishing Discs.
