Very happy to have completed this one. Client had recently purchased and wanted to have it coated for extra protection and ease of cleaning.
Vehicle was in pretty good shape, just some small scratches here and there.I’d say it was easily mid 90% after only a one step with a finishing polish.
What a drastic change from the trashed black cars I’m used to seeing.
Full decon and wash
Poorboys SSR1 on Rupes Yellow (LHR 21 mk2, Mini, Ibird nano) Duetto sat this one out.
Gyeon Prep (great smell!)
Gtechniq CSL+ EXO (2 coats on side panels and 3 coats on vertical panels and bumpers
EXO on trim
Car Pro Dlux on wheels, topped with PA Supersport
Mckees tire cleaner and tire coating (it foams up blue on the tire- really strange but works well) 2 coats (one didn’t do much at all)
Polish Angel Crystal (via mini+yellow pad) and PA Rain on top (2x) of all the glass
Polish Angel Black Bond on the front and rear plastic
Carpro PERL on wells
EXO on door/trunk jams and black part of spoiler (the white areas got csl+exo)
The results even surprised my demanding shine eyes.
Client received a bottle of Gtech QD, some Ech20 RTU, Bug Squash, 2 Microfibers, Glass cleaner + glass towel, some soap and a few cheap towels for incidentals (probably other stuff in the box that I already forgot about)
