stump grinding for a wax?

It only took 2 hours of chopping, tugging, and digging on 1 of 3 three stumps that I had to remove to realize there has got to be an easier way. So I go and get my computer, go to Creigslist and find someone that does stump grinding. I proceed to send that person an email offering him a trade of services, low and behold he has a corvette that he needs a polish\wax. Moral of the story work smarter not harder.

Ha. I love bartering (when I don't need the money more!)

Bartered for my T-shirts being screen printed, my invoices, oil changes, and more. Good stuff. Keep it local!

I have traded for my Snap-n double bank tool box and many Snap-on tools, Cornwell tools, Mac tools, dental work, and paint work to name a few things.

You would be surprised what you could trade for now adays. Times are tough and a $200-600 detail is even tougher for some people to swollow.

It has worked for me, but the only reason it has is because I make it very clear what we are trading for and also ask if they believe if it's fair. After all it's a trade and has to work out for both. There has been times when someone rubbed me the wronge way and I declined to trade.
