Stuff I can't get off my windows?

Okay: THis is weird to me? I was cleaning my Z3 interior with EF High intensity, dash, door panels etc. I was getting some overspray on the windows inside. But, I didn;t bother with it, because next, I would be doing the windows with Clear Vision. Instead; my wife comes out and wants to go for a ride. It was a beautiful evening. So, never being one to turn down my wife, or a chance to drive my Z, off we go.

The next day, I get back to cleaning the car. By now, I am going to wash the whole thing. I washed, dried and started in on the windows with Clear Vision. The residue from the previous day's HI would NOT come off. I mean it will not move!! It's like a smeared film on the window. I tried three times. I don't understand?

I didn;'t have time to try the HI again. And, I'm not sure I should.

Any recommendations?

Try using a little acetone or naptha on a rag to clean the film off the glass. Both dry quickly on your rag. After wiping glass, clean again as you normally would.

Oh, by the way, don't smoke while doing this!

If it is the hi intensity that won't dissolve, then it should disolve itself?

I remember now that I previously had used a spray that is a mix of dilute simple green and Zip odor control which is citris based. It may be that and I just didn't notice it. But, I would think I would have noticed the smears? No time to work on this today. I shall report back.
