Please provide a little more information, if you can . . . if there's a problem with aBay, we want to fix it. In what way did it not work? Did you get an error message?

Tort.. there is nowhere to post anything for sale on abay... I can read the 3 or 4 items for sale now but I cannot add anything "for sale".. Am I missing something ? Could you explain the procedure for posting stuff for sale please?

You can view but can't add or post at all.

Look for the link titled "Place An Ad" on the right-hand side of the screen, near the top (it's in the blue dividing bar that separates the screen header from the listings). If you still don't see it, you can use Ctrl+F to bring up a search in your browser, type "Place An Ad" in the search box, and it should highlight the link on-screen.



Please let us know if you continue to have problems. I'll suggest to DavidB that the link to place an ad be bolded, italicized, or turned into a button . . .something to make it more visible.

Well, that IS odd. Bill D may have your solution, though; however, I'd try clearing the cache first, see if that works, and if not, then blow away the cookies, too. If you still don't see the Place An Ad link, please post and let us know.

You replied before I got my message out. So, you've tried clearing cookies . . . have you also tried clearing the cache?

I could upload ads using that link, but I don't have any buttons on my toolbar, either. And I cleared cookies and cache, and now I have to re-enter my passwords at all the forums I visit, just to find out that the upload button is missing.
