Hey,



Looking at getting another car (used car, slowly acheiving collectible status), trouble is - my new place will be outdoor, street parking, no more garage :( It's only a few blocks away from a beach in southern california. How prone will it be to rust? Concerned, as it will be my daily driver, but, perhaps in the future, it may be a collectible, too.
 
Hey man, you live there, are there a lot of rusty cars? I don't know how that CA beach weather compares to the tropics (FL, LA), where there are rusty cars galore. Perhaps it's dry enuf in CA so this isn't a problem.
 
I have seen several cars that "lived" near the beach in NJ that showed paint wear from the sand (eg. wind sanding).
