Strange Paint "Defects"

I'm buffing out a 2012 Yellow Challenger that has moderate water stains and the usual swirls light scratches, with M100, a Rupes clone and Lake Country HD Orbital Blue Foam pads. I noticed on the vertical panels (fenders/doors)after buffing, very small, guessing 1/64 -1/32 - I can only call them chips. But they are all exactly the same shape. Random but semi numerous. Thought the owner drove thru a sand storm but they are exactly the same shape. Changed pad/product/towel but once I buff there they are. It's not solvent pop. Just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before. Best I can describe is a microscopic (bit larger :-) maple leaf shape.

Try as I might, just can't get my camera to focus down.

? Are these spots isolated in one area of the panel or random across the panel? Have any of the panels been repainted? Do these blemishes look deep?

Both sides of the car, front to back. Not a huge amount but on every panel approx. 1/2 to a dozen each panel +/-

Do they look like crows feet?

I googled crows feet on paint and it's not like the paint is cracking they're more like miniature sand pitting; buy yeah, they all have vertical lines on top, something like \\ // with the lower part more or less rectangular.

Are they like microscopic pinholes? Basically like the point of a needle kind of spot? My 2009 Challenger has them all over it if so. You'll never get them all the way out. Dodge wouldn't pay for a repaint and the body shop said that they're "solvent pops" where the solvent gasses out of the paint.

2010, does it have the infamous self generating ripples/dents in the sheet metal too? That's a fun Challenger trait. I have several in my roof. PDR them out and they'll come back in a different spot.

ehhh...

Not solvent pop 'cause a see a few of those as well. I need a camera like AMMONY uses that connects to a PC ...
Was wondering if one from Harbor Freight would be usable
