Storing of Clay

How do you guys store your clay after it has been used. I put mine in a baggie and stuck so bad that I had plastic stuck in the clay. Any tricks?

I have one in a bar soap plastic container and another in a small, clear plastic square box with hinged lid

One bar came in a plastic container (like the soap container Bill mentioned) and the other in a plastic jar.

I still put them in a small Ziploc bag first; I think it's a heavier plastic than the standard baggies. I also spritz a little QD on them to help prevent any sticking.

I think the key is to keep it "lubricated".

I keep mine in ziploc baggies inside plastic "boxes". BUT I always spray a little clay lube in the bag first.

Haven't had a problem with sticking to the bag yet . . .

I squirt a little of whatever I am using for clay lube into the container also. Works wonderfully for up to a year at least. In my case it's Griot's clay so I use Griot's speedshine to keep the clay moist. Also helps that it is stored in a hard plastic container so that the clay cannot get tangled up in the container

I use those small airtight fridge / freezer / microwave containers (Addis in the UK), with a quick spray of lube to stop it sticking.
