Store Bought Waxes

I know this is going to open a can of worms, but as far as store bought waxes go, what is typically the best in terms of not being a "dust magnet"? Durability is not an issue with me. I am looking for a pure wax - not a cleaner wax. Any suggestions?

You can often find Meguiar's #26 High-Tech Wax OTC. Their DC Step3 is also a pure wax. NXT Tech Wax, while really a sealant, is another product to consider. It's wet gloss is very good. None of these have ever been a dust magnet for me.
 
Megs #26 is a great OTC wax. I have it on my car now and I am very impressed with the looks. On my color it looks better then pretty much every paste wax I have tried.
 
i second the NXT paste wax. by hand, i often got smears from the liquid NXT wax. might have been too much product, but for me, the paste does not do that.
 
Ehh, NXT durability sucks bigtime. I would recomend a #101/#105 Duragloss combo. The #101 is like AIO and will clean the surface in prep for the #105, a pure sealant.



Mothers SynWax comes to mind as well.
 
As far as OTC I would suggest DG (sealants), stay away from the DG paste wax.



Another good one that can be had OTC is Collinite Insulator Wax #845



S100 Carnuba is good I just used it today and let it haze and misted DG#901 on top and buffed:xyxthumbs



You can also get Mothers California Gold Pure Carnuba with NO cleaners.

meguiars #26, mother's ultimate carnauba wax are my choices for whats OTC at kragens, autozone, etc

at least it last 2 months for me...lol
 
I second the S100. It's a little more difficult to find but if you have a Harley Davidson store near by they usually carry it. Easy to use and one of the best carnuba waxes out there. The Megs 26 and NXT are also very good and easier to find.
