Stoner products

I've used both. They are part of the Stoner "Complete Vehicle Care Kit", which features 12 of Stoner's products.

My daily driver is a 2001 Ford Taurus SES Duratec 24v that receives the best of care. Despite the fact that this car is outside day and night, I've got the surface prep just where I want it. I applied Bead Max on top of my normal detail sequence for the Taurus (DACP/GEPC/P21S), and found that it did indeed bead like crazy, even more so than my normal routine. Longevity seemed to be somewhat of an issue (only about 3-4 weeks), but when you consider how easy it is to apply, is it really MUCH of an issue? I'm sure it would have lasted longer if the car wasn't exposed to the elements 24/7.

I've tried Speed Bead on a client's car, a '96 Acura Integra GS-R. The car is black, and while it hasn't had the best of care since new, the paint was still in pretty decent shape. I couldn't make the Speed Bead perform the way it was supposed to (there were very slight scratches still showing, as well as a few water spots), but it did add a gloss to the surface. Perhaps the results would have been more acceptable on a light-colored paint.

All in all, I was happy with the products, though I'm not sure they are a standalone product. Perhaps on the right color car, they would be exactly what you need.

They are also super easy to use. I use it while drying my car. Just spray on your drying cloth (I use a waffle MF) and wipe. Let dry to a haze and buff off. I use the Bead Max and it leaves a real nice shine. Speed bead is suppose to have more cleaner in it.
