Stoner MSLT Tire dressing ?????

I just purchased some Stoner More Shine Less Time

tire dressing. I am impressed. Just the right amout of shine and easy to apply. Their products seem very high quality.

I have one question.

This product contains petroleum distillates ( so says the can ) and I am under the impression that this is BAD for tires??

What gives?

There are a couple concerns with petro dist in dressings. One is they can use a "Bad" silicone in them. These silicones can migrate into paint and cause repainting to be hell.



These dressings also have a problem with fling off. It'll mix with carbon black in your tires, fling off, and stain trim and painted, plastic parts.
