Stoner IG Wipes

I picked up a container of Stoner Invisible glass wipes last week. I figured they'd be good for the odd fingerprint here and there.

It turns out that they are *very* good. One of my pet peeves is MF fibers left behind on glass. These pre-treated wipes leave zero lint or fibers behind. Great product.

Prewashed MF towels and straight isopropyl. :)

Gonna pick up some NXT glass cleaner that's been getting good reviews...

Unfortunately, all of my MF's leave lint behind. It's probably because my MF washing process is so harsh.

I've been using WW MF's and Stoner Invisible Glass aerosol with good results, but the wipes are very convenient. It's nice to keep them in the glove box for touching up the inevitable kid/wife fingerprints. For some reason, everyone in my family thinks that you need to actually *touch* the glass to properly point.

I have been thinking about these lately, only because I hate getting glass cleaner on a fully dressed dash. Do you just wipe the glass with the pre-moistened wipe and leave it, or chase it with a dry towel? I may give them a try. Currently my process is blue surgical huck and the Zep Glass Concentrate (diluted accordingly to the label with distilled water) and have been very happy.

My only gripe is sometimes these (detailing wipes in general) premoistened wipes leave some lint behind when they degrade. I have not used detailing wipes before, but have seen the evidence of this on customers' dashboards.

On the real nasty stuff like 2 year old fingerprints, I chased it with a dry WW MF, but I'm not really sure that it was necessary. The wipes dry out fairly quickly, and the cleaner in them just doesn't leave much residue. I was pleasantly surprised at what a good job they did. Best of all: No lint!

Glass has always been a sore spot for me, so I'm glad this product works this well. I keep meaning to pick up some surgical huck towels, but it just keeps slipping my mind.

I know Accumulator uses a Griot's product, but I can't remember what it is. Hopefully he'll stop by... :)
