Stolen '64 Vette

I am in no way associated with this but I got an email from a Corvette newsletter that I am a member of. I wanted to spread this around as much as possible. I know there are a lot of people on here that are involved with car clubs and that work for classic car collectors. This poor guy had his 1964 Vette taken while he was parked at the Woodward Dream Cruise, of all places. Lets spread the word...

That's too bad... I assume he had collector car insurance, which will cover his loss, but not his memories and sentimental value!

I heard Woodward was down about 20% to about 40,000 cars this year!!! (must be the economy!)

I clicked on your link and read about the stolen car. I'm not taking anything away from the car or the owner, but, if a theif had his choice of mid-years, why would he choose '64? '64 has the lowest value of any of the mid-years.

You would think he'd go after a '66 or '67 big block which is worth at least 4 times more!

Must have been an inexperienced theif.

Let's hope he gets his car back with a minimum of damage!

Funny that you replied so quickly Bill...I was specifically thinking of you when I posted this. I just know as a car guy I would want as many people as I could possible get spreading the information on the car around...this seemed to be the best way for me to reach so many people in many different places at the same time.

I understand what your saying. Apparently there was something about his car that made it an easy target...who knows what that may have been.
